Event postbacks allow you to give your acquisition partners even more insight into whether your campaigns are driving the engagement you care about. They allow you to inform an acquisition partner like Facebook about certain in-app conversion events like a purchase or subscription.
Setting up Event Postbacks is simple. You simply log into the Localytics Dashboard, go to Attribution, then to Attribution Settings. Navigate to your ad network and select 'Localytics Events' to map to the network's events. Each time that a user you acquired from this ad network performs the specified event, Localytics will communicate with the network to let them know that the event occurred. Once you set this up in the Localytics Dashboard, you're all set. The communication with the network happens via a server-to-server API call that is made seamlessly through a custom integration Localytics has with each network.
