Overview
Scheduling an inbox message is fairly straightforward—since it can only appear in the user’s inbox if they’re in the qualifying Audience. For that reason, scheduling an Inbox Message just requires you to pick a start and stop time.
Begin
You inbox message can begin appearing at two options:
- When activated (ie, when you hit confirm)
- At a scheduled time
At a scheduled time allows you to confirm and activate your message before the message goes live to your audience. This is great if you’ve got time sensitive messaging (like holiday sales), but you don’t need to manually activate them.
End
Similar to begin time, end time also has two options:
- When manually stopped
- At a scheduled time
Again, At a scheduled time is a great option if you know you only want your message to appear in your end users’ inbox for a certain amount of time. Otherwise, we recommend When manually stopped.
After you’ve selected your Begin and End time, you’re ready to head to the confirm and activate step. Click Continue to Confirm to review and finish your message.
