We strongly recommend that you never pause or edit a push campaign.
The audience for a push campaign is created by finding a group of users that meet the behavior conditions that you established. Those conditions can change in real time, causing users to be added or subtracted from your audience.
When you activate a push campaign, the audience is set at the time of activation and will remain locked in until the campaign ends. Pausing and reactivating the campaign later would generate a new version of the audience, and throw off all the data that has been collected earlier. For that reason, we tell everyone to not pause campaigns that are active.
As for editing campaigns, the same explanation applies. Instead of editing, we recommend deactivating the campaign, then duplicating it and activating the copy as an entirely new campaign.
To deactivate a running campaign, you can click on the Edit button.
Then head on the Scheduling page, click Continue and Confirm.
On the Confirmation page, there is an option to Deactivate.
Back on the Messages dashboard, you can click to the right of your campaign and select Duplicate to create a new copy of the campaign. Then rebuild the campaign as you usually would.
